RAZOR CLAMS
May brings the first good clams tides of the year providing quality family outings for young and old alike. The beaches of Cook Inlet are abundant with razor clams. Generally there are two clam tides each month during the summer. We will outfit you with clam guns, shovels, pails, boots, and whatever else you may need. Then we will send you down the road to Clam Gulch, then down to the beach to dig your limit of tasty razor clams. The limit is 60 per person. You can then bring your clams back to kamp to clean and package or we can arrange to have them cleaned for you for a modest fee.
We will be happy to fix you a meal from your harvest or freeze them for you to take home. Clam shovels and other equipment are available for your use.
